Hello @emettely , Are you logged into your google account that you purchased the premium account from?

@Mr-N Google chrome will still run in the background after you close unless you tell it not to. Open up your task manager (ctrl+shift+esc) and close all instances of chrome.

@Tommo can you tell me what the chromecast icon says after you start casting? Is it saying casting videostream or casting tab?

@Squeakyclean Whats the cpu usage like? Computer specs? Wireless router? Is the computer connected wirelessly to your network?

@stellychristy We know that the issue is on our end but what we're trying to do is track down what types of files are effected so that we can reproduce what's happening on our our computers, (and patch whatever it is)

Did the update help out at all?

Just had this issue myself, I loaded the extension from the chrome store and it seemed to work that way. Not a fix, but at least a temporary work around until a fix is made.

@Synz76 If you create an exception in the real time protection for Chrome.exe you should be good to go!

@Guest Hey there! Sorry i don't totally understand. Could you explain a little more? Are you trying to install the cast extension?

@AceRockola to add, i try to hit play and pause a few times on my tablet/phone app to see if that will nudge it playing again but those attempts are always futile. just wanted to give more info. maybe if there was a quality selection on the app, i could fix that problem while in front of the tv instead of having to get up. but if you could fix the problem altogether, that would be great as well. again thanks for any help.

Just download any video from youtube and before the complete movie ;plays it will stop.
Sometimes videostreaming starts and sometimes it just sits there and then i look at where it stopped streaming but the time is still going so i have to move the poorly functioning cursor back. I try to get mp4 videos from youtube but sometimes i get flv but they seem to play just as well as the mp4 ones. I hate to decrease the quality as these are old film noir movies I am watching but it happens with newer movies also.

@acidhax just wanted to let you know I've tried to play the original VBO files and I had the same issue. Any thoughts? Would you have any recommendation to convert a DVD to any compatible file type that I would not have issues with VideoStream?

Need more info. So you plugged the chromecast in the hdmi and usb ports? Did you configure the chromecast? Did you install the Videostream extension in Chrome?
