When I have subs in the same directory as other video files, the subs from wrong shows starts with any video I start. Please make a feature that restricts subs to videos with identical names. Make it an on/off feature so It won't bother people who doesn't want this feature...

I always make sure my sub files are named exactly like my video files.

img/iso files are not a video file. They are images of a cd/dvd. Open them up with something like Daemon tools lite and copy the video files off it.

what are the specs of the computer you are using for playback? and are they playing back 720 or 1080p? If videostream needs to convert the videos because chromecast can't play the video stream natively, it could be choking on that.

@piyushupadhyay There's a function at the player in the browser when ure streaming that says stretch aspect ratio. The only problem that has is when u stretch Mkv videos, the subtitles go half way down. So u can see only the top line when there's 2 line dialogue, and u see nothing when there's one line dialogue

I am also having similar problems. The tab where I've chosen the video, that I stream to my chromecast crashes usually after 5-15 minutes. The tab just disappears and reappears with blank "new tab". So I assume that videostream crashes. I've tried different Canary builds, fixing my McAfee antivirus (I read the instructions I found by you, but they werent perfect, but I suppose I made it right), recovered my chromecast to factory settings, recovered my Netgear router to factory settings and even reinstalled the whole windows 10 (This problem really annoys me and I had some spare time.....). Anyways, nothing has helped.

First time this problem occured to me was about month ago.

@etsenake Does changing the quality setting, forcing the app to transcode, fix it?

I take it the video you are playing has an ac3 stream, and is not DTS or AAC?

I**my question is I am using chromecast.com with my Samsung Galaxy Tab s my problem is it will not load with the tablet can you get it so the tablet will work with chromcast. I watch movie thru my network , when I go to load the movies it does not want to play them? Can you fix this issue.

I miss about 50% of the subtitle, made all necessary setting does not help

@italoarcos Yes. It will use ffmpeg to transcode into a format chromecast natively supports.
