Once working Videostream works great and can keep playing new files but stops working:
consistently after closing and reopening Chrome
sometimes when stopping and restarting casting
Error message reported is "We're having trouble talking to your Chromecast!" and the only way to get it working again is to put "chrome://restart" in the address bar as suggested. Chromecast tab casting works fine outside of Videostream.
Interestingly, came across another thread that mentions an older version of Videostream 188.8.131.52 that doesn't have these issues but the interface isn't as clean. Hope this info helps to track down the bug and fix it in the new version.
