I should add, I have VLC installed on my TV and for now that is what I am using but it is a bit clumsy and not very smooth either. But it does however do exactly what I am looking to do.

RE: [Developer Post] - Stuck on loading screen
I have been able to stream an MP4 file. (obviously) but I saw a video stating you can use an .ISO file. Presumably a rip of a DVD according to the guy.
I tried this and I get the exact problem of this thread. So we don't have to dwell on firewalls, right? I mean if an MP4 works just fine, then obviously there is no obstruction of traffic. Also this is point to point on a peer to peer network. PC>TV
Anyhow that all being said I am guessing you CANNOT stream an ISO. I am looking for that type of solution to where my ISOs of full DVD images can be hosted to a TV.
Last resort will be to put them on a HDD and connect it directly to the TV.. if it even supports that.. otherwise a PC next to the TV and just use the TV as it's monitor. Mount the ISO and play it. Really trying to avoid that route.
