Not able to Stream anything

  • Shut down all firewalls, Windows, Web root, Malwarebytes, ran vstream port open program, can cast desktop to TV, I only tried MP4 videos, rebooted chromacast, rebooted pc, checked network for trouble (none) totally at a loss here. I have used it before but now noting. Followed all of topic 19, I would give up but it seems like such a good program.

  • You most definitely have an antivirus issue! Please be sure that you Exempt Chrome in the antivirus (shutting it down is not enough). Then you HAVE to reboot your PC!

  • I had the same problem and after trying to shut down the AV problem still persisted. So, I did what acidhax mentioned. Added Chrome folder to Exempt list of my AV and now all the videos are streaming perfectly!

  • @atrotta Amazing, glad to hear! :)
