Problem with MKV videos

Hi, is anyone else having problem playing back MKV files? I can open the file but the time bar would not move, staying at 0:00, and from time to time the video just says buffering and restarts at 0:00 again.

Got rid of this by casting my Chrome tab to Chromecast, stopped casting and then casting Videostream.
