They respond fairly quickly by email, but gotta agree, it would be nice if they were more active here. Even just to acknowledge issues.

RE: Does videostream support x265?
From everything I see, no. The only changes in hardware relates to Wifi, no new decoding hardware.

RE: Chromecast 2.0
Well on Google's page on it, it says that it works with Cast-Enabled apps, of which Videostream is Included.

RE: Folder View in media library
I agree with this 100%
I recently added the mobile app to my Android Tablet, and sorting through my TV shows is not viable. There are half a dozen different entries per series depending on exactly how the filename was originally formatted. I have everything very nicely organized into folders and subfolders on my computer, and would rather just have the app use that structure, than try to guess at names. At least provide it as an option, please :) -
RE: iPad Version of Video Stream (No haters please)
I believe the iOS version of the Videostream app is not as feature rich as the Android version. Which is a shame. I to have been using TeamViewer on my iPad Mini to load new files as needed. Would love for the app to be updated so I could browse my selected directories remotely.
That said, Videostream still blows anything else that tries to be similar out of the water :) If I'm stuck using TeamViewer, so be it lol.

Display last played after playback ends, and Replay option.
I've been using Videostream to watch a lot of my TV shows, and one issue that's come up more than once, is I forget what ep was the last one I watched. It would be great if Videostream, at least during the session, would after playback is complete there would be the option to replay the file (cause I fell asleep) and to see what the last file played was, (so I can select the next episode.)
I get that some people might use this for cough
to close window showing the last played file.
