I am having similar issues right now. Try uninstalling videostream and reinstalling it. It usually works for me. I've had to do it several times lately but it seems to be a temporary fix for now.

Videostream is having a hard time communicating with my chromecast. It says its casting but when I choose a video it tells me to pick a chromecast. I launch it from the App Launcher and it still does this. The only way to get it to work is if I uninstall it and then reinstall it. It started doing this about a week ago. Anyone else having this problem?

I was advised to open it from google instead of from my start bar. It seems to work every time now. Thanks to you and your team for speedy responses and the know-how to get things fixed.

I am having the same problem. It just started happening after the update.

I am having trouble casting videos from my pc to my chromecast on my television. Sometimes when I click the "cast" button it says "Cast this tab to ...Beta. Sometimes it says cast (and then there is a long stream of letters) to..beta. If the long stream of letters is listed it will cast. If it simply says cast this tab to...beta then it will not cast. It keeps telling me to select a chromecast. Why is this issue occurring?
