When music is playing during a video, the volume is more than sufficient--I keep my volume settings as I would if I were watching TV.

When there is dialogue, it is very quiet and the incremental increase in volume levels is not sufficient... I have to turn it to around 90/100 to get it at a decent level.

Even if this is the fault of the file I am playing, is there a way to address this using the app?
