New photos for Avatar: The Way of Water have been released that tease how much more expansive the world of Pandora will be in the sequel.
New photos have been released for James Cameron's Avatar: The Way of Water that show http://playit4ward-sanantonio.ning.com/photo/albums/avatrs-watyshttps://peacepink.ning.com/photo/40https://mcspartners.ning.com/photo/avatare-saehttps://www.onfeetnation.com/photo/avartar-wsayehttp://beterhbo.ning.com/photo/avatar-sae-opsiahttp://zacriley.ning.com/photo/albums/shaneestrada583http://allabouturanch.com/photo/albums/avatar-waterhttps://healingxchange.ning.com/photo/albums/avatar-suashttps://webhitlist.com/photo/avatar-water more of the world of Pandora. Thirteen years have passed since Avatar became the highest-grossing movie of all time. The first of four planned sequels is set to release this December. Here, Cameron trades the lush rainforests of Pandora for an ocean setting brimming with ethereal life and a clan of Na'vi who dwell in its waters.Released by EW, four new images show more of Pandora than seen before. The images include an underwater shot of Jake Sully (Sam Worthington) and Neytiri's (Zoe Saldana) adopted 15-year-old daughter Kiri (played by returning star Sigourney Weaver in a brand-new role) swimming in Pandora's pristine waters; according to Cameron, "She's going through emotional stuff." Jake and Neytiri flying on the back of their banshees with their eldest son, Neteyam is also included. Another image shows a closer look at Pandora's water-dwelling tribe, the Metkayina. The final photo reveals Pandora's equivalent to whales: the Tulkun. Check out the images below:
The images promise impactful character arcs and set the stage for increased family drama. Kiri's one of the film's fish-out-of-water characters, or "unfish-in-water," according to Cameron. Kiri will have to find her place, not just with her own tribe but, with a school of oceanic Na'vi. Giving her a key scene that takes place underwater, a common symbol for emotion and the subconscious, is, not only fitting but, a powerful image that dives deeply into character: Kiri's being set up as a major player for Cameron's Avatar franchise. The second image shows more family relations as it depicts Jake and Neytiri receiving a concerning call from one of their children. Much like the first film, The Way of Water seemingly plans to play with themes of forbidden love, while continuing its occurring family drama; and the two parents now have five children, exponentially enlarging the stakes. https://www.techrum.vn/threads/new-avatar-2-images-give-a-closer-look-at-life-on-pandora.682619/ https://stockhouse.com/companies/bullboard?symbol=v.enw&postid=35095734
The introduction of a second tribe reveals to audiences how expansive the world of Pandora really is. The first Avatar focused solely on the relationship between colonizing forces planning to exploit a supple and, before, untouched world and its indigenous people. The Way of Water adds the dynamic of how two different indigenous tribes of Na'vi play, or fight, with each other. The photo featuring the Tulkun promises the introduction of new creatures of majestic and magical design, and hints at how animal life will be affected by the trifles of their anthropoid neighbors. The four photos give a lot for audiences to dissect and study. As the first film established the world of Pandora, the sequel is seemly set to tell a more personal story of a family, but of course with the backdrop of a gorgeous spectacle. The images not only further tease the rich world-building Cameron's capable of but, they tease how Avatar: The Way of Water plans to build with characters that are deep and dynamic.
