The national Flag of Guatemala, was adopted in 1871 and is a tribal design of two blue stripes and one white stripe. In the centre of the white flag is the Guatemalan Coat of Arms.flagsworld,The blue stripes represent that Guatemala is a land located between two oceans, the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. The blue also represents the sky. The white is for peace and purity. The coat of arms in the centre, depicting the national bird (resplendent quetzal) that represents liberty.
