Still no luck after Firewall fix.



  • I just read about Videostream and was stoked to try it out with my Chromecast Ultra (streaming from Win10 PC). I installed it and was met by the request to install the firewall patch and reboot. Did that. Same message. I went through manually to open the ports in Friwall advance setting... still no dice. Tried rebooting again and still keep getting the firewall popup. Am I missing something?



  • @jdsamford I'm having the same issue, I have even created a new rule but still getting the same firewall message when trying to play a video.



  • @jdsamford I just solved the issue for myself. Even though the ports were turned on for some reson Google Chrome was being blocked, so all I had to do was ensure I ticked the below boxes and it works fine now.
