How to Change the Ticket Name on Southwest Airlines

The change fee that a passenger often imposes can be anything from reasonable to outrageous. Although you may be carrying a document like a marriage certificate, some airlines do not permit name changes. In order to make a Same-day change with Southwest, passengers must have identification that exactly matches the name on their travel ticket.

Go to Southwest Airlines' official website first. Select manage reservations.
Enter the passenger's last name and the booking confirmation number now.
You then re-display all the booking information on the screen.
Change it by giving it a new name.
You will receive a confirmation email once the edits are finished.
