How do you add an image thumbnail to files in the library

Hi, I've got my media library sorted now but if I view it on my phone it just shows the default letter (IE: [A] Alien) and when I click on a movie it shows the default movie real image. Is there a way for me to add custom images that show up in the library view and preview?
