Clear Library Cache [Android App]
-
I've deleted shows from my library that still appear in the library on the android app. Is there a way to wipe the list completely?
-
I'm also looking for a way to do this.

Received this in response to an email:
In the desktop app you can add/remove folders from your library! It's under settings->media library!
-
this does not solve the problem of old shows even if you remove and rescan the folder there is still a reference in the mobile app to the file that no longer exists
-
@brewforbrains I am also looking for this solution. Has anyone come up with an answer?

I have found a solution. On my Android Tablet (Toshiba Thrive 10.1) I just uninstalled the app, reinstalled and re-linked tablet to PC. My Library was refreshed and all the "old" entries were gone. I wonder if this could have been done by clearing the app cache in the application settings?

@ldarthard You can also clear data in the application manager of your phone/tablet. It has the same effect as uninstalling and reinstalling, and also requires you to pair your device with your computer again.

I'm having this issue as well. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app, cleared the data from the app, and it still won't clear files that I've deleted.

I've figured it out! The problem is with the extension that has your library precached to send to your device and it might include references to files that no longer exist. To fix this simply remove the extension, install it again, add folders to your library and pair your device.
