.VOB format play has issues

.VOB type files (usually copied from DVDs) doesn't play well all the time. Out of the 4 .VOB files, 1st file had some portion of the video skipped (video at 6:00mins is shown at 2:00mins, so skipped 4 min video).
2nd file played well.
3rd /4th files skipped the whole files(40 mins long) and played only 5 seconds of video from 39:55 to 40:00.

Please help. I am using basic/free version of videostream.

Its not officially supported. Just happens to work by accident.
