WHAT CLASSES ARE IN DIABLO 4?
-
Druid | Druid gameplay
The shapeshifting druid class was one of the first classes announced in Diablo 4. They are able to use earth- and wind-based powers, and transform seamlessly into bear-man and werewolf forms. Unlike past entries, druids don't use abilities to specifically transform into one form, but instead when using abilities that require a specific form, they transform into that form and remain transformed briefly. Druids can also summon a number of companion summons to help, including wolves and crows.Barbarian | Barbarian Gameplay
The savages are back with their mighty power and piles of weapons. We know the barbarians use something called the "Arsenal" system, which lets them carry four different types of weapons in exchange. You can even assign different skills to use specific weapons, so if you want to really refine your customization--or just use specific bonuses from weapons or specific Diablo IV Items to gain specific skills--you have that option. The Sorceress | The Witch Game
For the traditional elemental casters, there's the class of witches who can hurl lightning, ice, and fire at enemies from a distance, and their different feats are exactly that - lightning, ice, fire, and a generic one. Unlike the Sorcerer of Diablo 3, the Sorceress is more focused on elemental magic, so expect gorgeous displays of the elements and pure arcane shenanigans. The new sorceresses also use a new enchantment system, allowing them not only to use six skill slots like everyone else, but also to use three enchantment slots to convert skills into unique passives.Rogue | Rogue Reveal — Rogue Gameplay
At BlizzCon 2021, Blizzard added a fourth class, Rogue, a name that hasn't appeared since the original Diablo. We've got some details here on Rogue's abilities, which you can count on to do your dirty work at a distance with your bow, but also get up close and personal with daggers and short-range knives. Rogue works with the "combo point" mechanic that sees your abilities build on top of your attacks, and they also have a specialization called "Shadow Realm" where you become immune and drag enemies into A creepy looking gray area where you can gain all sorts of great powers.Necromancer | Necromancer Reveal — Necromancer Gameplay
Blizzard revealed the necromancer as Diablo 4's fifth and final class in creepy fashion at the Xbox & Bethesda 2022 showcase. Necromancers will bring their expected assortment of skeletal minions, plus plenty of bone and blood magic, as well as some weapon options that can see them on the front lines with giant scythes, or drain life force from their targets. Necromancers use corpses as resources, as well as essences like mana. We even know we'll see the return of Bone Prison, in case you want to keep your enemies in place for all sorts of nefarious reasons. Of course, if you'd prefer animated skeletons to be your sidekicks, the new "Book of the Dead" feature lets you customize your minions and evolve them into different specialized skeleton companions, hopefully a bard option here.
