Troubles to play .mkv files from a Mac
-
Hello =)
I've read all the posts with the (almost) same problem, tried everything I saw, but nothing worked.
Basically when I start a .mkv file, VideoStream loads it (inside Chrome I see a sample from the video, the title, the correct length,...) but on my TV I just have the VideoStream logo moving every few seconds. The video is stuck at 0s and the buttons play, forward, ... don't react at all.
I have no issue with .avi or .mp4 files.
My configuration :
- Wifi without password (perks of countryside)
- MacBook Air 2013 with Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite
- firewall disabled
- No antivirus
- nacl flag is activated in Chrome
Did I miss something ? =(
Thank you for your help !

I'm on windows. I get about 2 seconds of video before it crashes back to the load video and the TV just shows the logo.

@Mooga I have the same issues but on Mac Yosemite, some .mkv work but not all. I can play them through my browser and cast the browser but then I don't get any audio.

Try updating the app and try again!
