      The moment I cast I see a screenshot of the movie and then it stucks in buffering forever (more than ten minutes waiting without playing even a frame of video)

      • If you're itching to get streaming we have some forums that may help over at community.getvideostream.com! ==> tried some related searches with no luck.

      Finally, here are some common issue solutions!

      • Firewall problem? ==> repair tool ran; also as administrator; btw. firewall is disabled.

      • Make sure Chrome is up to date and you have the Google Cast app installed ==> uninstalled chrome; installed chrome; installed cast; installed videostream again.

      • Something going wrong that didn't before? Type chrome://restart into your address bar and reboot your router ==> chrome://restart done; rebooted router and switch.

      • Buffering? Try moving your router closer to the chromecast, and also see if .mp4 files play better! Some file types are harder to play than others ==> Android TV connected with UTP cable (100Mb); VLC App is streaming perfectly; .mp4 tried (see .log).

      • Certain files giving you trouble? Try them out in VLC and if they play fine there please let us know! ==> yeap, tried VLC App streaming them over smb just fine.

      • If Videostream keeps casting the tab instead of your video, use the apps page in chrome to open Videostream instead of the apps launcher ==> n/a.

      • No chromecasts found? Try rebooting the computer and if that doesn't help, try disabling antivirus, it messes with the chrome extension! ==> n/a.; ClamWin Antivirus do not mess with chrome or/and firewall, plus tried without it running.

      • Having audio trouble? Make sure your audio setting in Videostream is set to Default (stereo), and double check in chrome://plugins that your native client is listed and enabled! ==> n/a.

      • Antivirus? http://community.getvideostream.com/topic/6/developer-post-videostream-freezes-the-tab-antivirus-firewall-help ==> n/a.

      • Want to queue up multiple videos? Check out Videostream Premium :) ==> ...well let's fix the basics first! ;)
