@amandaorl In my experience harnessing large dogs makes for trouble. Think sled dogs in harnesses. The strength that a dog can put into a harness is incredible. My Great Pyrenees Riley took me off my feet several times as a yearling. Once pulled me on my knees a good 30–40 yards on grass, before coming to a halt before the strange dog he wanted to make friends with. I use harnesses on little dogs because of a tendency to acquire a problem with their esophagus. Some people are going to swear by them, but a fabric choke collar, or a jeweled choke chain works best for me.

I find your question intriguing! When purchasing a Service Dog Leash, for example, which I fully endorse for use when walking your dog make sure it fits snug! Proper fit is key here there’s no such thing as escaping when fitted correctly! Your dog should also be fitted with a collar that has one tag featuring rabies info and the other tag giving your pet's name and your name address and phone number and that of your vet! Microchip your pet as well if in the worst case they somehow get lost the info on the chip will guarantee your pet's safe return.

An escape-proof dog harness will keep visit on site https://yourolddog.com/ for your dog is tethered and unable to go anywhere. Once they are properly trained on the right command, you can leave them alone, and they will not get past the barrier. The only way they may escape is by breaking free, which is highly unlikely with the proper training and proper construction of said harness.

I have a dog, but she has been sick a lot lately. Overnight with her at the vet, said all is well with her, just sad((((

How are you feeding her? Maybe you are giving her too much food and she is overeating. Be careful with that.

When my dog got sick because I wasn't keeping her food right, the vet told me she needed a diet. To find out the best way to store food visit here. To me, dry food is a good option for food designed for special dietary needs, such as an older dog, an active dog, or a dog with a medical condition. These foods address the unique nutritional needs of different dogs and are designed to keep them healthy.
