This is the last day before Election Day, when Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump hold events across key battleground states.
Over the weekend, Trump's closing message grew darker as he used violent and aggressive rhetoric against his opponent and Democrats.
Here's what you need to know:
Trump's stopover: Former President Trump campaigned on Sunday to complete airstrikes across three states in Pennsylvania, North Carolina and Georgia and consolidate his base in battleground states.
Trump sows doubt: Trump has pushed baseless claims of Democratic cheating in the 2024 election and sowed doubts about its integrity. He has baselessly claimed that the voting machines will be rigged, saying Democrats are "fighting so hard to steal this damn thing." Trump has said he "shouldn't have left" the White House after losing the 2020 election, but he has refused to admit it. He also said he doesn't mind if the shooter "has to shoot fake news" if he tries to catch him.
Stunning Iowa Poll: Trump continues to trail Harris by 3 percentage points in Des Moines Register and MediaCom's final Iowa poll, saying he is not accurate. The poll found no clear front-runner, and it's notable because Trump led the state in both 2016 and 2020. The poll sent shockwaves through Trump's orbit, several people familiar with the response told CNN.
"Equal Time" on air: Trump appeared in a 60-second video on NASCAR after the race on many NBC stations, urging people to vote. Her appearance prompted the government's "equal time" clause, which states that candidates should have equal opportunities to secure airtime at the station.
Harris stopped by: In Michigan, the vice president welcomed customers at black-owned barbershops and chicken and waffle restaurants. In her final speech to Michigan voters, she did not mention Trump, saying only that "America is ready for a fresh start."
Courting Arab and Muslim Voters: Harris has tried to reach out to Michigan's main Arab community by promising to do "everything in power" to end the war in Gaza if elected. She has been interrupted throughout the election by protesters protesting U.S. support for Israel. Trump has also tried to court Arab and Muslim voters in recent weeks, saying Harris will not be able to handle the demographics properly in Michigan because former Republican Congresswoman Liz Cheney is campaigning with her in Georgia.
