La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland - TAG Heuer has introduced two new models in the Connected range of smart watches - the Caliber E4 series.
One, the new 42mm version, was designed with universal elegance in mind. It has a thinner case than previous Connected models, ergonomic steel buttons, a thinner rim and a fully integrated bracelet.
It is designed to be the best piece of day and night to wear in the gym, office and after activities.
The second new smart watch, a reworked 45mm version, has a sportier look with a ceramic rim. The design has an "added sense of fluidity" from previous models, said TAG Heuer, and is easier to use.
Thanks to the larger diameter, there is more space for the wearer's finger to access the crown, so it can be easily adjusted.
The watch tilts inwards for a lighter and more ergonomic wrist feel. In addition, the sliders have a classic, mechanical look to the watch, which deals with the brand's reference.
Several straps are available for both smart watches, including leather, steel and multicolored rubbers. The Caliber E4 series also features a new selection of dial options. Some listen to traditional mechanical watches from TAG Heuer, others are futuristic, with animations and quick access to information.
The latest Connected line, the Caliber E4, has more watch options with more features than ever before.
The new dial called "Riverside" offers a futuristic effect over time. The "Wellness" dial has a ready heart rate and number of steps on the home screen.
New features such as the latest sports news, weather, health statistics and calendar are available for dials. Delivers instantly so users don't have to search for their most watched features.
Connected Caliber E4 has new capabilities as a power tool.
TAG Heuer Sports provides a guide to on-screen routine exercises that guide users through upper, lower and full body exercises without the use of a smartwatch. Wizard animations show movements. Even the watch vibrates when it's time to move from one workout to another.
Users can also enter their own watch routines for them.
The equipment for monitoring fitness watches has also been upgraded. In recent years, they have evolved to follow not only hiking, walking or running, but also swimming, cycling and golf. The new charger works as a watch stand and a dimmed night light that can only detect time so as not to disturb sleep. Magnets help place the watch on the correct charger.
TAG Heuer is also working to upgrade existing Connected features to the latest editions.
The new screen is said to offer better quality and contrast in all light conditions, especially out of bright sunlight. High-fidelity color reproduction also helps keep the display visible in any light. The battery lasts 30 percent longer than the new 45mm version. TAG Heuer said the battery lasts all day despite intense 45mm sports, including five hours of golf.
With a width of 42 mm, users can enjoy health functions throughout the day.
To sync with best smartwatches 2022, Bluetooth 5.0 speeds up and speeds up the process.
The Caliber E4 is equipped with an altimeter, primarily for Connected, which better monitors fitness statistics during activities, along with a heart rate monitor, accelerometer, compass and GPS. The new generation of Connected uses Google's Wear operating system. It currently uses Wear OS 2, but it will be possible to upgrade to 3 at no additional cost if available.
