Plenty of people have no problems running this "craptastic" app (which is FREE, might I add), or going through the oh-so-rigorous ordeal of properly configuring a home network. Even the few users who have problems AFTER running through the troubleshooter have been able to get a solution from the devs by asking for help utilizing this new-found technique called "common courtesy." Also, it seems like most users here were also raised in civilization and have at least a passing familiarity with "manners" and how to apply them.
The issue here isn't with a craptastic app as much as it is with a craptastic user.
Or maybe you're right...the nerve of these developers! Writing an app that provides functionality available nowhere else, giving it away for free and then providing free support when it doesn't work perfectly for every single user...what a bunch of assholes! And then they expect us to spend a few minutes troubleshooting our computers which have a problem running their free software--who the hell do they think they are?! Luckily there are brave patriots like you Mr Cajun to speak up to these tyrants and tell 'em how it is!
...nah, I think was right the first time; craptastic user. PEBKAC.
DIAF.
Sincerely,
