Chromecast Brainfreeze

Hello, I have two Chromecasts and now both are showing "Brainfreeze" anytime I attempt to load content from Videostream. I have rebooted the computer, reinstalled the Videostream app (It shows same issue on two mobile devices as well as computer), I have rebooted the router twice and unplugged each chromecast 3 times. Any suggestions? Thank you!

I also have this problem, i'm thinking it has to do with yesterday's update as mine was working perfectly before and I can cast to my Chromecast with other apps.

Hi guys - having exactly the same problem here. VS premium, Win 7. Win7 updated last night, but have reinstalled as previous and can cast from everything except Videostream! Youtube etc no probs whatsoever.

Also having this problem, I also have 2 chromecasts and have reset everything!! Very annoying!! :(

Ditto, it was working yesterday but today all I can do is mirror my chrome browser. I was playing videos yesterday from my file but not today. c'mon guys, get with the program and put it back the way it was

I am also having above issues can cast everything but videostream it self. Windows 10(x64) tried reinstalling both apps did nothing.

I have factory reset my Chromecast and still receiving this issue. There was an update for Google Chrome or VideoStream yesterday?

@alwadejr Yes there was a videocast update yesterday. That has to be it.

Mine doesn't work either... It worked fine two hours ago.I keep getting this message: Unable to cast to device.
An unexpected error occurred. Please try the following:
Try to cast again
Verify your network connectivityI still cast Netflix and Youtube. I hope they fix it soon :(

UPDATE: The Videostream team got back with me on Twitter. They had let the security certificate expire and are fixing it right now.

It's fixed! Reboot your Chromecast and all should be well.
