As you already know, files can be stored on various media. These are HDD and SSD disks, flash drives, CD / DVD disks, memory cards and other devices. How to transfer files over the Internet? It is possible through EMail, Skype, social networks, instant messengers ..

But what if the file is too large? You will not be able to send it by mail, on Skype or attach it to a message on social networks. File hosting comes to the rescue.

      What are file hosting services?
File hosting is a special web service, a site that allows you to upload files to remote servers and receive backlinks to them. Roughly speaking, this is a data warehouse in which you can store your files.

I have never used a file hosting service and I don't even know how to use it. I do not need this, since I don’t send anything to anyone, and I store all the data I need or important to me on disks or a flash drive. This is necessary for students or those who write various articles on the Internet and I am an ordinary user.

Private users can safely use secure cloud storage to store document exchange files and send requests for access. And organizations can be confident that enterprise-grade cloud storage complies with corporate and data protection regulations and the requirements of such international regulations.

As for corporate use, it's all very simple, but at the expense of security, I would not be so sure that everything will be so good with the files. Therefore, all to do backups of systems. So that later you do not have problems with the restoration.

If you take a cloud storage, then you can flexibly manage storage systems and virtual machines. Maximum resiliency of your system will be implemented at the cloud infrastructure level. Your external and internal networks will exchange data at breakneck speed. But all these services are paid, because I believe that it is better to use a free and secure file sharing service fex for safe storage and transfer of files.
