Cristiano Ronaldo was born in Funchal, Madeira, Portugal, February 5, 1985. He is the fourth and youngest child of Maria Dolores (mother) and Jose Deinis Aveiro (father). Cristiano Ronaldo has one older brother, Hugo, and two older sisters, namely Elma and Liliana Catia.
Cristiano Ronaldo's family was not full of wealth at that time. Cristiano Ronaldo's mother works as a cook, while his father is a part-time gardener and kit man. The life of little Cristiano Ronaldo took a turn for the worse because his father was an alcoholic.

to Alcochete which is closer to Lisbon. After two years at Lisbon's academy, Cristiano Ronaldo set himself up to pursue his dream of becoming a professional footballer thus putting aside formal education.However, at the age of 15, Cristiano Ronaldo was diagnosed with heart palpitations, a condition that could have forced him to retire early. The operation was carried out to make Cristiano Ronaldo's heart condition back to normal.
The operation was a success and Cristiano Ronaldo was able to continue his football career. Cristiano Ronaldo's ability increased drastically until the call to defend his country came when he was 17 years old. Cristiano Ronaldo defends the Portugal National Team in the U-17 World Cup. The call to defend the senior Portugal national team came to Cristiano Ronaldo a year later.
