Videostream working on old chromebook but not new

I use Videostream on my laptop at home and think it's an awesome product however I tried using it on my boss's new chromebook but it doesn't work and give error message reading something on the lines of 'there is currently a bug with google and videostream doesn't currently work with chromebooks' even though it works on my chromebook.
