iOS App

One of the most requested improvements we get for Videostream is the addition of an iOS app - so I just figured I'd jump the gun here and let you all know where we're at with it:
- We have a few more things to do before we start work on it
- Once the desktop and android apps are feature complete, we can hammer out an iOS app. We just can't spread ourselves too thin, or projects take way too long to complete.
- TLDR: we haven't started it yet, but it is something that we are DEFINITELY going to build

yes please! this is by far the most wanted feature in my book. now that i've paid for a lifetime membership and have access to playlists, it's not as needed...but it would still be great to be able to control playback from my iPhone instead of having to pickup my laptop.

Any update about this, when i've purchased my pemium account it was essentialy because IOS support was supposed to be available around october, now it's december and development may start one day, seriously wtf is that ???

Unfortunately this is part of buying into a product in the early stages of development. They realized that certain things needed to be fixed or improved upon before an ios app came out. They're doing a fantastic job communicating with the community, and trying to be as transparent as possible in the mean time. I've bought into things where they didn't even let people know what was happening until the day of the update. Stay positive my friend, you'll be rewarded soon enough.

Any news on more features on the ios app? It needs the same features as the android app. I have switched from my old 1+ One to an iPhone 6s Plus... Now I miss the ability to remote control the VideoStream, starting videos on my Nas. Will this feature ever come to the ios? or do I need to have an android phone to remote control my streams?

CAN'T WAIT FOR THE iOS App to mirror the Android! Viewing my library from my phone will be soooo much better. As it is now my computer is in my basement so I have to go start a video down there and then I pause it, then I can lay down on my bed and start it using my iPhone. And when that video is over, I have to repeat the process. Tempted to just get a droid for this purpose alone.

I love that you do the best apps you use but how about monthly tips with the top apps you recommend for that month? That would be great to keep it up with the awesome content!!! It seems to me that any application (if it is not specialized) should be launched on all platforms and OS at once because this way you lose part of the audience.
