ahmeha is absolutely right! Quit Malwarebytes and it started working fine! No more buffering. Thanks ahmeha!

Removed Avast and still buffering.
Airflow is an alternative that is not buffering every 5 minutes, unfortunately it's not a canadian product. -

@jonathan-sun Nope, still going on today, and apparenly won't open the videostream in chrome anymore.

Also, thanks to the ~6 f*ing Canadians who make this AWESOME product basically for free (apart from subs). As a dev, I understand how much of a labour of love this kind of thing is. BIG love!

I'm having the exact same problem. Have been using video stream and chromecast for over a year with no issues. This change just started happening yesterday. Buffer at random long intervals, and auto-playing itself after a bit of a pause
