OSX 10.10.5, Chrome 50.0.2661.26 beta, VS Quits before opening.

I went on a 4 day trip to Texas. When I got home lasts night, I tried opening VS through the Chrome App Launcher, the extension button next to the URL, and and it starts to pull up the dialogue box where you choose a file, and then immediately quits. it doesn't even load the VS page (where it shows a couch).

Thoughts?
