Final Fantasy XIV is coming to PlayStation 5
Final Fantasy XIV will be announced on Friday on the developer PlayStation 5, developer Square-Enix. The public beta will start on April 13.
The leading trailer shows that the game is running at 4K resolution, and the company said it will significantly increase the frame rate and faster loading time. If you have already registered the PS4 version of the game, the new optimized version will be played for free during the test period.
Final Fantasy XIV will also receive a new expansion pack called Endwalker:
Endwalker pushes the story of Hydaelyn and Zodiark to a climax, in which the journey of the Warrior of Light to Hydaelyn and even the moon landing will suffer a greater disaster than ever. In addition to expanding the storyline starting from the "realm of rebirth", Endwalker will also create a new starting point for the beloved MMO, laying the foundation for long-term fans and new players to enjoy new adventures together.
When "Final Fantasy XIV" was first released in 2010, the game was so strongly opposed by players and critics that its original director and producer withdrew from the project, and the developer shut down the server in 2012. The game was relaunched in 2013 under the name "Final Fantasy XIV": Realm of Rebirth.
FFXIV Gil is the standard currency of "Final Fantasy XIV". It can be used to buy goods from shops and market committees. FFXIV Gil can be obtained by killing monsters, completing tasks, or selling items and equipment. Players can trade FFXIV Gil in the game through the market committee, email or face-to-face.
