C8 Corvette fiberglass is a very common word used by the Corvette community. However, fiberglass construction is usually associated with cheap, low quality cars. So what is the real meaning of C8 Corvette fiberglass and is C8 Corvette fiberglass a good thing? C8 Corvette fiberglass is actually not a good thing. The Corvette has never been entirely fiberglass in its entire life cycle. Mainly the 1968 to 1982 body style was constructed using fiberglass as the main material. In actuality Corvette C8 is also constructed from aluminum and carbon fiber. Only the outer body panels are constructed from fiberglass. Corvette C8 is a car that has no match in the supercar industry and it is constructed using the latest technology to make it more lightweight than its predecessors. Although, Corvette C8 is not entirely fiberglass and there are several layers of carbon fiber and aluminum. So it is safe to say that C8 Corvette fiberglass is actually a good thing.
