After failing to land Real Madrid striker, Luka Jovic, in the January 2022 transfer market, English Premier League club Arsenal still hasn't given up. The Gunners are one of five European clubs said to be trying to sign the Serbian striker this summer.

According to Fichajes reports , Arsenal are one of five European clubs who are now targeting Luka Jovic to be recruited in the 2022 summer transfer market. Luka Jovic is indeed a target because his quality is not seen at Real Madrid because he rarely gets the opportunity to play.

Luka Jovic joined Real Madrid in the summer of 2019 for a transfer value of 60 million euros. He was brought in from German club, Eintracht Frankfurt, but then failed to penetrate the Los Blancos first team.

Until now, Luka Jovic has only scored three goals in 50 appearances at Real Madrid. The second half of last season the Serbian player even returned to Eintracht Frankfurt on loan. However, his return did little to help restore his confidence.

Now back at Real Madrid, Luka Jovic is widely rumored to be leaving this summer. However, Carlo Ancelotti chose to keep it. Unfortunately, the Italian coach has rarely played him during this season, where Karim Benzema is like an irreplaceable figure.

Even when Benzema false false false false was injured, Ancelotti didn't play Jovic, but chose the likes of Marco Asensio and Isco to play the false nines. This shows that Jovic's position was not in the coach's plans and leaving in the summer would be something realistic.

A number of clubs have shown interest in the former Benfica striker who is struggling in Spain. Of these clubs, there is Arsenal , which is a club that will be enthusiastic about signing him in the summer because they need a center forward.

Arsenal lost Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in January after opting to terminate his contract and allow the player to join Barcelona on a free transfer. In addition, both Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah are out of contract at the end of the season.

The latter has turned down several offers from the club, while the Gunners are holding off on talks. However, both strikers are expected to leave the Emirates Stadium, leaving the north London club without a reliable senior striker.

As a result, Arsenal are planning big spending this summer, with Lautaro Martinez of Inter Milan and Real Sociedad star Alexander Isak being heavily linked with the Gunners.
