We are super super super sorry but Videostream does not work on any Chromebook or ChromeOS due to a bug on Google's side.

We're working with Google to try fix this bug, you can track Google's progress on the bug here: https://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=233052

*PS. If your Chromebook is in developer mode AND running an Intel processor there is a workaround, checkout how to do it here: http://community.getvideostream.com/topic/4/

@Jason-from-Videostream Does this guide still exist? I just get....

        "Not Found

Is this still an issue guys because I can't stream from my Acer C720? Original support ticked (Issue 233052) was opened in April 2013, most recent post Nov 2014.

All blocking bugs has been closed which means this feature has been implemented. It is currently hidden behind the --enable-firewall-hole-punching flag which will be removed for M-44.

                are there an news ?
can't wait to get it working.

Should this now work in the ChromeOS beta channel with --enable-firewall-hole-punching flag enabled? Not working for me. Thanks!

                      Hey All!

We've talked with the Chrome team and once 44 goes into production (out of beta) this functionality won't be hidden behind a flag - it'll be there for everyone to use!

We added a bunch of warning messages to the current app to make it so users knew that it didn't work. Right now we're just in the process of stripping all of those out.

Chromebooks for Intel should be very easy to support, so expect to see something in the next 3 weeks or so

Chromebook's running ARM might be a little trickier and in many cases won't be able to do a full video transcode (just because they aren't powerful enough) but we do plan on adding support here (and perhaps warning messages on the files that won't work). Still trying to figure ARM out

Hang in there guys, should be out soon!
