Scanning my entire drive!!!

Trying to add a folder, I accidentally input the entire hard drive and it is scanning 10s of thousands of files--adding each little video on there. I can't "back out" or delete anything.
Looks like it'll be scanning all day.
How do I fix this?
****I think my main question is HOW DO I DELETE FOLDERS FROM MY MEDIA FOLDER? I SEE NOW WAY.

This is a pretty serious problem, as this much work can overwhelm your hard drive and cause some serious damage. You should turn your PC off and try hard drive repair software to see if your hard drive is working correctly. High-quality tools will both diagnose your HDD and offer to repair it once they're done.
