What do I need to know about IQ tests? Are there stereotypes that can be broken?

Your ability to work, your ability to be a parent, and your ability to be a friend are not dependent on your IQ. Your IQ is a qualitative assessment of your ability to solve puzzles and problems compared to the rest of the population. IQ is a measure of your intelligence, but no more than that.
If you have already been tested and are upset with the result, you should take a thoughtful approach to your next test. Stay on your diet, stay awake, and exercise vigorously. Anything you do to strengthen your intelligence will help increase your IQ level. By the way, I suggest you take this test iq-global-test.com.
The fact that you could not answer one or more questions on an IQ test does not mean that the test is too difficult. It is designed to be difficult to assess your intelligence. Anyone could be a genius if the questions were very easy.
