Every human is possessive about his thoughts, about his things, about the way he spends his life, and even about the people who live around him and these people have meaning to this human. So we observe that every human, which comes into this mortal world, has a built-in lock and key combination in his mind. He uses this lock and key to protect his possession over the things that just belong to him and he never allows anyone to intervene in his belongings. So we see that locks and keys not just belong to the physical world but also belong to the internal world of humans. Securing one's property and his belongings have been a major concern not only this time but also in ancient times. People used to protect their belongings in different ways like they used to keep their precious things in possession of other people who could protect them.

They buried their money and gold on earth so that no one could find them. Similarly, they used animals like dogs and snakes to protect their things but all of these methods were safe to some extent only and they provided limited safety to their things. After the invention of locks, people started to keep their things in locks. Egyptians were the first people who invented locks and now locks are made throughout the world. They are available in different sizes and shapes and advanced technology has made it a valuable business throughout the world. Nowadays electronic and magnetic locks are available that don't need any keys so all you need to do is to remember a few passwords instead of keeping a bunch of keys and your things will be safe and sound.

Fingerprint technology has given a big boost to the market of locks because homeowners now prefer locks that are not only economical but also have fingerprint technology. In this way, your home desktop computer becomes the protector of your house. Initially, you just need to enter your and your family's fingerprint into your computer which it will store in its memory, then connect this computer with the electronic lock system of your house. When someone, who does not belong to your home, will enter your home your computer will give you a warning sign, so in this way, you can protect your home even if you are far away from your home.

Interesting thing about locksmiths is that they have the master key for every lock which means that they can use this same key to open every lock but bad thing is that they don't give this key to everyone.
