New world server forwarding is now available and faster
Gamers flocked to New World, one of the latest games in the MMORPG genre. This game was developed by Amazon Games Studios and is popular for several reasons, including how it works and the environment. Players are working on another 17th century colonization of a fictional world called Aeternum.
Many people like the game, but New World has problems such as players not being able to transfer characters to other servers. Fortunately, developers are listening to people who want to use this feature. Recently, an update for New World was released, bringing server forwarding to the game. With the addition of server forwarding, players can now move from one world to another. This update is a game changer from the developer. This means that players who were locked out of one server at startup can now quickly jump to another server and play with their friends.
Please note that this update allows players to join the world of other friends, but not the world of other regions. But it may come in the future of developers as well. The developers have made it clear that adding server handover capabilities has been a priority since the game started. According to patch notes, Amazon Games developers have extensively tested this feature over the past two weeks. This update was initially available in the Southeast Asia Pacific region, but has since been launched in all other regions. In other words, everyone should be able to move between the worlds. Recently, developers have shared a video of a player jumping from one server to another within seconds.
In the update patch notes, the developer listed the steps required to complete the server transfer. First, the player needs to log in to his character. Once this is achieved, they will need to go to the in-game store and request a character transfer mark. According to the developer, the player should leave the current business and delete all buy and sell orders from Trading Post. After completing some of these steps, the player must go to the sanctuary to complete the transfer.
Fortunately, almost everything won before the transfer was saved, so players can sigh of relief. What is transferred includes home and decoration, inventory and storage, currency, character development, and all progress of the mission. Some items that are not transferred to the new server include company membership and trading position orders (which must be canceled before transfer), as well as a world-specific friend list.
It's exciting to see the requested features added to popular games like NewWorld. Hopefully, the implementation of this new feature is good for many players who want to use it.
