It seems to me that uou can find Acer laptop drivers you need on the driverpack website. It doesn't matter what system is installed on your laptop, you can always find exactly the driver that you need. Hope it will make sense for you. Cheers

It could be that the headphone port is damaged. Maybe from constant insertion, removal. Try a different set of headphones first.
Also check your audio settings. Could be muted. And don’t download/install driverpacks. They are usually loaded with viruses and malware.
